Week 29, 2026
Santa Fe, New Mexico
What I saw:
Absolutely gorgeous film, highly recommend.
What I heard:
Lush Crayon | Warm Nights
When I was a little girl this is the kind of music I imagined I’d be listening to as an adult while driving my convertible through an urban nightscape.
What I smelled:
“…a gentle, aqua fragrance of pear and sandalwood”.
What I tasted:
Fresh branzino crudo with red onion and giant caper berries in olive oil, lemon, & champagne vinegar.
What I touched:
My ephemera archives
I’m in the process of moving house which has necessitated the assessment and reorganization of all the layers of accumulated life strata. I’ve unearthed piles and piles of things to purge but somehow old fortunes from the Musee Mechanique and every birthday card I’ve ever received have made it into the small keep pile.
What I wore:
Doên Davina dress
What I desired:
In this sticky summer heat I’m fantasizing about stomping around in these on a cool fall night.
What I read:
Perfect reminders from my Uusi Supra Deck
What I thought:
About the deep allegorical potency of this helmet.
Simultaneous protection and surrender…
